ABOUT US

The site is operated and managed by Lausons Property Management Ltd. 

We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 13733756 and have our registered address at 37 Penygroes road, Caerbryn, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, SA18 3DQ. 

Our trading address is 23c Llandeilo Road, Crosshands, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA14 6NA. 

Whenever you provide personal data, we are legally obliged to use your information in line with all applicable laws concerning the protection of such information; including but not limited to the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR), described in this policy as the “Data Protection Laws”. This privacy policy also forms part of our terms of business and is not intended to override them. This policy may be amended or updated from time to time and any revisions will be posted to this page, so please check back regularly.

THIS PRIVACY POLICY

1.1 Lausons Property Management Ltd  are committed to protecting your personal information and other data, which is collected by us or provided to us 

1.2 This policy, together with our terms of use and, where applicable, our booking terms sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. By visiting our Website or Our Clients Direct Booking Website, registering an account and/or purchasing goods or services, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

1.3 For the purpose of General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679) (“GDPR”) and any subsequent data protection legislation, the data controller is Lauren Rebecca Edwards.

1.4 Our products and services are only available to those aged 18 and over. Therefore, we do not knowingly receive or attempt to solicit any information from children.

We may collect and process the following data about you:

(a) Information you give us. You may give us information about you by:

(i) filling in forms on our website, for example to sign up to our newsletter, or for exclusive offers/ discounts. 

(ii) participating in discussion boards or other social media functions;

(iii) corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.

The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information (payments will be processed securely) 

, personal description and holiday preferences.

If you are a journalist or a member of the media that we work with, we may also hold information relating to your job title and social media handles. 

(b) Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our Website we may automatically collect the following information:

(i) technical information, including the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;

(ii) information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our Website (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

3. USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

3.1 We may use information held about you in the following ways:

(a) to administer our Website and manage your account;

(b) to improve our Website and our service so that it is most effective;

(c) to facilitate communication between guests and holiday property owners, deal with enquiries, and carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;

(d) to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us;

(e) to administer any competition or promotion that you have entered which includes notifying you if you are the winner so you can arrange collection of your prize;

(f) for internal record-keeping, reporting, service review.

3.2. We may also contact you for marketing purposes. This is where we will provide you with information about goods or services we feel may interest you. If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you. If you are not a customer of ours we will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this (e.g. where you have given consent, such as signing up for exclusive offers). 

You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our marketing emails or see ‘Your rights’ section below for further information.

4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

4.1 We will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes.

4.2  If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use or terms and conditions of supply and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lausons Property Management Ltd, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA

5.1 We may process your data because:

  • we      are legally obliged to e.g. to confirm your identity;
  • the      processing is necessary for the performance of the contract with you to      provide our services; or

6.1 All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted and processed securely. 

6.2 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

7.1 You have a number of rights in relation to your personal data, these include the right to:

  • find      out how we process your data;
  • request      that your personal data is corrected if you believe it is incorrect or      inaccurate;
  • request      that your personal data is deleted;
  • obtain      restriction on our, or object to, processing of your personal data;
  • if      we are relying on consent, you can withdraw your consent to our processing      of your personal data (including any direct marketing);
  • obtain      a copy of the personal data we process concerning you. We may charge a      small reasonable fee towards the cost of administering any request you      make and we will take steps to verify your identity before responding to      your request. Once we have received the fee (if required) and verified      your identity we will respond as soon as possible and in any event within      one month; and
  • lodge      a complaint with the UK supervisory body, the Information Commissioner’s      Office (the ICO) here https://ico.org.uk/.      If you have a concern or complaint about the way we handle your data, we      ask that you contact us in the first instance to allow us to investigate      and resolve the matter as appropriate.
  • if      we are relying on legitimate interests for direct marketing, you can      object to receiving such direct marketing;

7.2 Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We keep your personal information for as long as we need to for the purposes for which it was collected or (if longer) for any period for which we are required to keep personal information to comply with our legal and regulatory requirements.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Payments

● A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your stay. A booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid in full and received by Lausons Property Management Ltd.

● The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to your check-in date.

● If the final balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-release the dates. In this event, the deposit will be forfeited.

● A 30% damage deposit will be held 2 days prior to arrival and automatically released 2 days after departure, subject to no damage or additional charges.

● The damage deposit does not limit liability. Any damage exceeding the deposit amount may be charged to the lead guest.

  

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests may be:

● Processed via the guest portal(where available), or

● Submitted in writing via email to lauren@lausonsproperty.co.uk

Cancellation terms:

● More than 6 weeks before arrival:
The 30% deposit is retained.

● Within 6 weeks of arrival:
The full booking balance becomes payable and no refund is due.

We strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

  

Cancellations by Us

● Lausons Property Management Ltd reserves the right to cancel a booking within 48 hours of confirmation due to pricing or calendar errors.

● If we are required to cancel your booking due to issues with the property, you will be offered either:

○ An alternative date, or

○ Suitable alternative accommodation for your original dates.

  

Changes to Your Booking

Requests to amend dates or booking details are subject to availability and at our discretion.

 

  

Arrival & Departure

● Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed prior to arrival.

● Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by prior arrangement but cannot be guaranteed.

  

Occupancy

● The property must not be occupied by more than the maximum number of guests stated in your booking confirmation.

● We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a stay if this condition is breached.

● Any changes to guest numbers must be notified at least 7 days before arrival.

  

Cleaning, Damage & Fees

● Guests are expected to take reasonable care of the property and its contents.

● Any damage, breakages, or excessive cleaning may be charged to the lead guest.

● Outdoor shoes must not be worn on carpeted areas. Professional carpet cleaning costs will be passed on where required.

● All properties are strictly no smoking or vaping indoors. Any breach will incur a £250 cleaning charge.

  

Guest Responsibility

● Guests are responsible for supervising children, babies, pets, and any adults requiring care at all times.

● All furniture and items must be returned to their original position at the end of the stay.

● Dogs are only permitted at properties advertised as dog-friendly and by prior arrangement.

● Pets must be well behaved and not cause damage or disturbance.

  

Force Majeure

We cannot accept liability or offer compensation for events beyond our control, including (but not limited to) severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or utility outages.
Guests are strongly advised to obtain suitable insurance.

  

Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse a booking or terminate a stay if these terms are breached or if guest behaviour is deemed unreasonable or disruptive.

  

Complaints & Issues

● Any complaints or reasonable requests must be reported during your stay to
lauren@lausonsproperty.co.uk so we have the opportunity to resolve them.

● We are locally based and operate extended hours to assist where possible.

● Complaints raised after departure cannot be accepted.

  

Disputes

● Disputes will only be considered if reported during the stay and supported by evidence (including photographs).

● Guests are responsible for minimising loss and must notify Lausons Property Management Ltd at the earliest opportunity.

● Accidents during the stay are not the liability of Lausons Property Management Ltd.

  

Liability

● Lausons Property Management Ltd does not accept responsibility for loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience arising from the property, its services, or exceptional weather.

● The maximum liability accepted is limited to the total cost of the holiday paid.

● No additional expenses (including travel or alternative accommodation) will be reimbursed.

  

CCTV

Where exterior CCTV is installed, it does not monitor internal areas. Footage is retained securely and deleted in accordance with data protection requirements.

  

Electric Vehicles

● Charging electric vehicles at properties without a designated charging point is prohibited.

● Guests must use professional charging facilities.

● Unauthorised charging will result in fines.

  

House Rules

● Guests must be respectful of neighbours, staff, and residents.

● Maximum occupancy limits must not be exceeded.

● Damage or breakages must be reported immediately.

● Personal belongings left behind cannot be guaranteed for return.

● Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

● BBQs must be cleaned after use or a £50 cleaning feewill apply.

● Pets are not allowed on sofas or beds.

● Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

● Good Housekeeping bond- Whilst we do not take a physical security deposit, a 30% security deposit is held against the card and released 2 days after departure. This is used to charge for any additional cleaning or damages caused during your stay and not reported. We understand that accidents can happen so please let us know if you have anything to report before your departure. 

  

Hot Tub Rules

● Guests must shower before use and remove makeup, fake tan, and sunscreen.

● Children must be supervised at all times. No under 12s permitted.

● No glass, pets, jumping, or tampering with controls.

● The hot tub must never be switched off at the mains.

● A staff member may attend during your stay to check water quality.

● Overuse or misuse may result in the hot tub being taken out of use without refund.

Hot tubs are fully emptied, cleaned, and refilled between bookings and may not reach optimum temperature by check-in time.

  

Pets & Dogs

● Only the number of pets booked and paid for are permitted.

● Pets are not allowed upstairs, in bedrooms, or on soft furnishings.

● Dogs must not be left unattended.

● Gardens may not be secure; pets must be kept under control.

● Unauthorised pets will result in additional cleaning charges and fines.
